Lift serves thirty-six 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-grade students who have been recommended by their teachers as being in need of an extra “lift” in order to show greater academic gains.

Lift employs 3 part-time Team Leaders (1 per grade) with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, a Director/Literacy Specialist, and a volunteer coordinator who recruits, trains and manages up to 50+ volunteers which provide 1:1 reading and relationship time every day, for every child.

Lift is in session on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, following the Eastbrook school calendar. Each child in Lift receives approximately 91 days of 2.5-hour intentional programming which includes literacy instruction, music, structured play, healthy snacks, enrichment activities, spiritual instruction, and character development.
